Horsing Around

It was “take two” for my daughter’s birthday party. Last weekend when we tried to have it, the wind was up to 70 km/hr and there was snow and freezing rain! Today was much better. It was still windy but the clouds disappeared and the sun was shining (finally!!) 

The girls spent some time riding the horses and feeding the other animals. Then we had pizza and lemonade and cupcakes. It’s so hard to plan a fun birthday party. It’s either going to the pool, bowling or the new indoor play set (which I think an 11 year old might be too old for now). So how to you plan something that’s fun and different? I think this was a great idea. The farm (Stavanger Farms) is a bit of a drive but it was more than worth it. 

Now I’m going to watch some football and have a nap!!
