Finally, a Update
Lat week, Mark decided to get a reservation for supper for my birthday. Well, he phoned, and the restaurant had closed down. So he sat there really quiet and then said to me, "Well, did you want to go to Saskatoon instead?" Well, I was thinking maybe KFC but this sounded better. So we packed up the Jimmy and drove off. Along the way, we saw a very bad accident. It was along the Hanson Lake road which isn't very good to start with but when they let it go to gravel, it's horrible. Apparently it was a very bad accident and two women from town died. I don't know all the details but it was enough to make us slow down and really think about driving. But we got there safe and sound. We checked into the hotel and relaxed. Then on Saturday, we woke up too early, 5:30 am. We started shopping as soon as the stores opened. We stopped for lunch at Red Lobster for some unlimited shrimp. I ate way too much. So we spent the rest of the day working off that lunch. We walked almost 18 Km that day. Mark's parent came up for the day. They left in the evening. It seemed so late but it was only around 6:00. We spent the rest of the evening looking around the bookstore, eating pitas and watching TV. Then we crashed. On Sunday, we finished our shopping with a breeze through Costco and then drove home. I was so tired by the time we got home and unpacked everything. I slept pretty good last night but I was still sleepy this morning. Today, I didn't do too much. Got some groceries and did some laundry. My nieces called me and sang Happy Birthday. That was pretty awesome. They had some harmony going and it was part in English, part French. Best. Song. Ever.
Well, now I have to go, I need to read the 11 emails I got over the weekend and check my bank account! AHHH.
