O Canada
It’s a different Canada Day this year. We usually go to the Kin Park for our hot dogs and cake or go to the parade or head out to my friend’s house for her daughter’s birthday party but we couldn’t do any of that this year. But that doesn’t mean that it couldn’t be a great day! And since it was a special day, we had to have a special breakfast!!
The weather even cooperated and we used our our smoker to make some delicious ribs. We decided to upgrade our old Traeger smoker to a new updated version and sell this old one. So for one last hurrah, we smoked a rack of ribs. It was a great way to celebrate Canada Day and send out the smoker in style.
Then we drove out to Roche Percee to explore the rocks. The girls had a wonderful time exploring around. I was amazed to see all the flowers!! I don’t think I’ve ever seen prairie lilies growing wild and there they were - dozens of them all over the place!
And we even got to see fireworks after all. Yay!!
