A Bit Of Everything

#1: Mark got a new toy. It's a Lathe - but a special one to do smaller woodturning...like pen-making. He has always been really interested in woodturning and there was a sale...so...it was his Father's Day/Birthday/Anniversary/Christmas Present and I think he really likes it. He picked it up from the bus at lunch, had it set up just after supper and before 9pm, he had a pen made. So yeah, I think he likes it.

#2: Mark and I have realized that we haven't been watching a lot of TV lately. And now with the nice weather on it's way, we're going to be watching even less. We had talked about cancelling the satellite and when they jacked up the price (again), it was the last straw. We still have the old bunny ears so the upstairs TV has CTV and CBC. It amazing what you;ll watch when there is little choice! But really, all the shows we normally watch are on those channels anyway. And all the other ones are on the internet! And it's free! Plus, now with Mark's new toy, he will be in the basement all the time anyway!
