Waiting is Not Easy

There is a book called "Waiting is Not Easy".  I used to read it to my youngest daughter all the time.  So much so that whenever anyone in the family got impatient over anything, we'd always say, "waiting is not easy!"

My husband and I fulfilled a dream of ours and ordered a Tesla Model Y at the end of July this year. We had been thinking and dreaming and planning and saving for a long time and we finally bit the bullet and ordered it.  We were told at the start that it would be a 5-7 week wait for delivery. That's fine we thought, we're in no rush. By the end of August we figured we should probably put up our old car for sale.  It's not the newest or greatest vehicle so we thought it might take awhile for it to sell. That night we listed it we had someone interested and by the end of the next day it was sold for near asking price.  Which was more that we ever thought we'd get for it! So we were down to one vehicle and my husband had to drive me to work and pick me up again but we figured that it wouldn't be for too long so we would manage. 

We just got a message today that it will be another 2-3 weeks. I know that sooner or later we'll get the call that it's ready. But man, waiting is not easy!!
