Discovery!

While we were in Winnipeg, I made a shocking discovery. I like sushi. On our shopping day, Carolyn and I met up with some of the cousins to go for lunch at a sushi place. I was scared. I'd never had sushi before and I was scared that I was going to have to shove this raw stuff in my face and pretend that I liked it. I was prepared to be hungry for supper! But I tried it and really liked it. It's kinda mushy and tastes like the sauces they use. There was one that had kinda like a ranch-like dressing. I even ate some of the raw stuff. They told me there was lots that didn't have raw fish in it if I wanted to be safe. But I thought, when am I going back to a sushi bar? The only thing I was worried about after was how my stomach was going to react to raw fish. Nothing. I was fine. I've felt worse after eating McDonald's. So good to know, I like sushi.

Raw fish is very easy to digest. In Japan, Sashimi is given to post-op patients. You probably need good insurance to cover it, though. Even thirty years ago, the fish market was nuts. These days, I can't even imagine. Does Mark like sushi? Dylan and Heidi both do (no wasabi). Tammie? well, you can imagine. I finally had a moment to go through your blog. It is a great expression of you.
