A Quick Update While A I Have A Moment
I'm here in Moose Jaw. My dad took the bus to Flin Flon on Sunday and he drove me, Abby and Dee Dee to Regina. It was so awesome of him to come on the bus. I was ready to make the drive alone but that extra pair of hands and an extra set of thoughts really helped out. Plus it was a great opportunity to catch up with him. It's been a long time since we had a good talk. We did hit some massive construction but other than that, it was a great time.
We met Mark in Estevan on Tuesday evening and Abby and I went back with him. So here we are - for the time being. Soon we will be headed back for Flin Flon. Then all that is left is to pack up the house and drive all our belongings to Estevan. All I can say is that I CAN'T WAIT!!!
It was Sunday that I think I actually realized that I am not only going somewhere great, but I am leaving something pretty great too. We were in church and it was time for the final hymn. Of course, they chose It Is Well With My Soul. They had one of the guys (who is also leaving) come up and help sing the bass part. I stood in the back, holding Abby and cried my eyes out. And I know I wasn't the only person wiping my eyes at the end. After church, there was a party at the lake. That was a lot of fun. I got to say some goodbyes and see you laters. But if we weren't going to such a better place, it would be very hard to leave this one!
