The Best Day

Ever have one of those days everything feels right in the world? For me, that was last Friday. The day started with Mark going to work for the last day of the school year. It was a hot day so I filled up the kiddie pool. All morning we were in and out of the house playing in the water while Isabelle napped. School was let out after lunch and when Mark got home he said that he stopped by Home Hardware and got a job for the summer! So now he can make a few bucks and not get so bored over the break. After Abby had her nap we all went outside and enjoyed the beautiful day. Abby played in the pool, Isabelle sat in her car seat and sucked on her fingers and Mark and I sat on our chairs and enjoyed a cold beverage and listened to the radio. Pretty soon it was time for supper so Mark bbqed a couple steaks. Yummy!! We watched the football game (they won!) After Abby went to bed we were sitting downstairs watching the football game when I thought I heard a knock from upstairs. I wasn't sure so I went up just in case. Sure enough there was a delivery guy at my door and he had my new iPhone!!! Yep the day couln't have gone much better. Even the Jays won.

In interesting Isabelle news, we were watching one of the Harry Potter movies and Isabelle was laying on the couch watching too. She likes the lights I guess. All of the sudden one of the characters jumps up out of nowhere and Isabelle nearly jumps out of her skin! Then burst into tears. Poor thing. I could hardly calm while quietly giggling to myself. It was kinda funny. She gets really startled by sudden loud noises and then starts crying. But a good snuggle makes everything better.
