A Real Story

So Richard came over Tuesday night and told us this story about the time he went fishing with a rocket scientists. For real. This guy worked at NASA, on the Gemini projects, then worked in Guam during the Bay of Pigs. He said he was sitting there with his finger on the button, 15 minutes away from pushing it. Then we worked at RCA making timing systems and went to the Olympics in 1972. In fact, he stayed in the room next door to where the hostages were taken. Oh yeah, and he also built the guidance system for the cruise missiles. Some story. I wouldn't have believed but in the story, he said that this guy caught a fish, but he didn't. If he said that he had too, then for sure it was all a lie. But this guy swears that he's telling the truth. I guess it wouldn't be too hard to find out. That's what I'm going to do now. But whatever the outcome is, both Mark and I were spellbound by this story Richard told us.
