I'm Okay Now
Yeah, it still hurts a bit but I'll survive.
I'm babysitting a friend's daughter this morning. She and Abby are playing pretty good. When Abby gets too close, she just says, "No." and Abby ignores her and continues so I try and distract her. That's been my morning. But other than that, they are playing really well together. It helps that Abby gets distracted really easily. It makes me laugh to think I was going to give up my job and do this full time. There is no way I would've survived. I can handle half a day here and there, maybe even a full day but all day, everyday? Not likely. It's good to know the real me and what I can and cannot realistically do.
Abby is so close to walking by herself. She hardly needs any support now walking around. And she walks really well hanging onto furniture.
I am listening to the little girl play with herself. It's so great to hear the stories she is making up. I can't wait for Abby to get to that stage.
