Today Should Have Been My Birthday!

It was a great day today. Despite the beginning..Abby and I were playing in the basement and she slammed the door to my craft/music room. The force of it made a tile fall down from the ceiling. I went over to see the damage. At first it just looked like the tile fell but then I noticed water all over the place! The tile was soaked. And the tile next to it was soaked too!! I called Mark and luckily it was still early and he could come home and see what happened. It turned out to be the dishwasher. Last night it was extra loud and after school he checked it out and it was just pouring out water! We wanted a new dishwasher anyway but this is a bit earlier than we anticipated. It never got dishes very clean and left crumbs and scorched a few pots of mine! We went to Sears tonight and there is a really nice one (that will match the rest of our appliances ) on sale tomorrow. So I get to have a new dishwasher for my birthday!

And for the good things..
The cheque finally came from selling the house. (Just in time to pay for the dishwasher!)
I finally bought my birthday purse. I found a wallet that matches too.
Abby was really good while I took a half and hour to decide on my purse.
It was Credit Union day and they were giving out donuts and other yummy treats. I had to go twice for work so I got lots of chocolate!
My coworkers told me that they're buying me lunch tomorrow.
I finally figured out how to text on my new phone.
