Sorry Mom

For years I have been using my mom's chocolate chip cookie recipe. And it never works for me. If I double the recipe, I'm left with soggy unbearable pucks that only taste good frozen. And if I don't double it, I only get 10 cookies. My mother on the other hand, can bake them and have them turn out perfectly...and I mean perfectly! So a friend of mine was baking a couple months ago and sent over some chocolate chip cookies. They were amazing! So I asked for the recipe. I am baking them today. With the cold winter that has blown it (BLOWN) I needed to do something warm. And so far so good. The recipe made lots of cookies...around 50. And they taste pretty good. Abby just stole one off the counter. Did I mention she has learned how to push a chair to the counter so she can now reach EVERYTHING! I had to put all the knives into a Tupperware container so she wouldn't play with them.

My view this morning...yeah...

Abby dressed herself and even managed to grab a cookie!
