Long Weekend
Introducing the newest addition to our backyard. This little guy, along with his smaller, whiter friend decided to bloom a couple days ago. He's cute!
What a hot and long weekend! But a good one! Mark's parents came Friday morning and we drove down to the park for the Canada Day celebration. There were free hotdogs, cotton candy and popcorn. We stayed for a little while then went home. Abby tried to nap but it was too exciting to sleep. So we went and played in the back yard. We skipped the fireworks. Maybe next year.
It was a lot of fun visiting with Mark's parents. We took a drive to see the water, and we checked out the museum - kind of. We were just there to see what things they had to offer, like tours of the dam and whatnot. This morning, I played in church so we all went. It is so hot today that I think it will be a sprinkler afternoon. Mark's parents left right after lunch and Abby is now enjoying a good nap!

Mark's mom was trying to explain to Abby that she is Mark's mom. "I'm your daddy's mommy," she said. Abby looked at her, grinned and said, "Nooooooo, Mama!!" and laughed. We tried to explain it several times but she thought it was just a funny joke.
