It’s Mother’s Day!! Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms, especially to mine!!
I got a special pancake breakfast this morning. They were very yummy!!
Then my daughters gave me their gifts. I got a special pampering kit complete with a door hanger to let people know not to disturb me, some tea and a book mark. I also got a beautiful painting.
My husband mentioned a little while ago that we should try and make sushi. I thought that was a great idea so I ordered a sushi making kit and decided that we should try it out for Mother’s Day! I think we did a great job for our first try. I think we can make a couple tweaks and next time we won’t make as much!! We used a combination of smoked salmon, imitation crab, cream cheese, cucumber, carrots, avocado, and red peppers. It was fun to make. I think it would be a fun meal to make with family or friends should the day come that we can have people into our homes again. I can’t wait. And now I know what I’ll serve!!
