Sunny Days
What a beautiful and productive day. One of those days that all seems well with the world.
This is a Rhododendron. It’s a nice perennial that should hopefully have some pretty pink flowers. I also put a few yellow petunias in front for some variety. The idea is to attract hummingbirds. I’ve never seen one in the yard before but as the saying goes, “If you build it, they will come.”
I’ll have to post some more pictures once they start blooming. I spent the rest of the morning planting everything then took a nice break in the afternoon..
I’m not much of a beer drinker but my husband bought these creamsicle beer from Medicine Hat Brewing Company and they are amazing. Perfect for a hot afternoon on the deck.
And to cap it all off, we barbecued hamburgers and hotdogs for supper. Great meal for great day.
The day started with me taking my daughters to Walmart to buy some summer clothes. While this definitely wasn’t my favourite part of the day, we did pick up a bunch of stuff that we needed. Namely, shorts and bathing suits and then a bunch of new flowers for the yard.

I also bought a bunch of of African daisies. They looked pretty and we’re 4 for $10. Why not?
