Upper Body Injuries

So, I went to see the dentist today. I guess it went well. He's very nice. His name on the sign is Dr. Vijay A. But I saw his real name and it's a lot longer than that! Anyway, he took a quick look, poked it twice, I winced and he said, I know what the problem is here, I'm going to take an X-Ray. Sure enough, he was right. My bottom wisdom tooth (where it hurts) should have come up when I was 16 but never did. It's actually crooked and will probably never come up. That wouldn't be such a problem but teeth are team players and if one is bad, they all get screwed up. Teeth grow until they hit something for example, another tooth. But since in this case, there is no tooth there, it's growing until it hits my gum. Ouchie. I said that it didn't look infected and he said no, not at all. He said it was like if you were to hit your hand with a rock repeatedly. Now imagine that there is another rock underneath your hand. No wonder it hurts. So he said I should get the top pulled. And probably the bottom one too but it's buried so it would be more of a challenge. The top one shouldn't be a problem. So we'll see. I'm pretty sure about getting the top one yanked but if he's going to have to dig for the other one, I don't know. Plus, he might not be able to do that here. I'm going to have to find out.

Good luck with those teeth! I had my top ones out before we got married. They were fine. I just got my bottom ones out in October (they were crooked and under the gums). Let me know if you want to hear that horror story before you get yours cut out.
