Weekend Lessons Learned
Yesterday, I saw an eagle circle over my head then land and eat a fish. I saw Mark pull four big jack fish out of the lake. I played with four teetering puppies and their attentive mother. I ate fresh fish deep fried in the secret blend of spices and ate bannock cooked over open coals. I ate more food than could fit and then ate a piece of pie. I learned that a cure for a headache does not consist of sitting on a couch and sleeping but by getting outside and breathing fresh air. I discovered that I really like Spring, more than I knew. I learned that friendships are important and something to be cared for. I found that birthdays are important no matter what you might say. And finally, steak is always worth the wait.
