I'm Back!
So an update is in order...
Friday I went to the dentist to get the tooth pulled. It went pretty good. I had to laugh again though. He said that if I felt any pain while he was pulling the tooth that I should raise my hand. That would be our signal. I felt like telling him that I had a better idea. If I felt any pain while he was pulling my tooth, I would start screaming. That would be my signal. But I didn't have to do anything. I didn't feel a thing. I think he slipped a sedative in with it cuz after he gave me the freezing needles (three!) I felt a little giddy and really tired. I was watching The Simpson's and all of the sudden it was a lot funnier. But soon it was over. He only had to cut through tissue and not bone so that was good. He gave me Tylenol 3. That stuff is good, but not as good as I had hoped. It still hurt, especially after the numbness wore off. So on Saturday, I slept a lot. We were in the middle of doing our yard so I'd help and then go have a nap and then some out and help some more. We got a lot done. It is now finished (I think). We have grass seeded in the front, a small garden growing and flowers around the house. We also put white rocks under the front steps. It looks sharp.
So I am off the pain killers, even normal Tylenol. I'm still very tired. I think the penicillin is doing that to me. Or I just need more sleep. I am now looking forward to gardening, having Mark's parents over and planning for our trip South.
