A Long Road

We just got back from Winnipeg today. For those of you who don't know (and therefore do not read my Facebook) Mark's grandma passed away last Thursday. We drove down on Sunday and just got back. We had a nice visit despite the circumstances. The funeral was on Tuesday. It was a hard and long day but we got through it. It's a testament to Grandma to see how everyone mourned her passing. It was a lovely service. They spoke of her love of gardening, God and family. It was hard to see Grandpa so alone but thank goodness he has a caring family close by.

We drove home on Wednesday. I am quite tired and not at all looking forward to going back to work. I am so glad it is Thursday tomorrow which means only two days until the weekend. Hopefully by then I'll have some more fun and exciting news to share (and maybe fishy as well!)
