Yuck

It's too early for this! Today we turned on the furnace. It was 0o C outside and inside wasn't too much better. And now it's raining/sleeting. I was supposed to pull up the garden tonight, but that will have to put off until another day. It keeps getting put off. Well, why shouldn't it be? I never really took care of my garden. I thought I was a garden person, but I'm really not. I think I got two onions out of it. Next year we're just going to seed it for grass. It's not worth the "work" and we hardly got anything out of it. It looked really bad too.

Tomorrow I'm going to go play banjo with a few people. I'm quite nervous. I don't think they know just how much a beginner I am. I've warned them but they want me to come anyway. They are looking for a banjo player to play at one of their gigs. Oh boy. The one guy has a mandolin too for me to try. This is the same guy who wanted me to play piano at a wedding but after hearing me play, decided it might not be the best idea. Will he learn his lesson this time?
