One Week Closer
Went to the second prenatal class. This one was on Labour and Delivery. We had a Delivery nurse come in and tell us what actually happens as opposed to what you read in books and see on TV. It was good to here. I'm a little more calm about the whole ordeal. So still no epidurals-only morphine and a huge dose of Demerol. I guess there is only one doctor that can administer the epidural and with the epidurals, they need to constantly check you so he'd have to work non-stop for every labour patient. I'm just going to have to learn that hypnosis thing. We watched a short movie. One lady brought in a picture of her cat and said it helped her concentrate on one thing. I don't think I'll be taking in a picture of the dog, but I will take in music. Hopefully that will keep me calm. One of the fathers sang She'll be Coming Round the Mountain. If Mark tried that, he'd end up with a black eye!!
Next week of work looks kinda rough. I'm going to Snow Lake for circuit court. They say it's the easiest of the circuits because it usually only lasts 15 minutes. We'll see. With my luck, there will be some complication and it'll take four hours to get sorted out. I'll try to think positively. I think I'm getting tired and cranky so I'll just go to bed.
