Random Thoughts Pt?

My daughter has expensive tastes. She is getting better at eating the peas and chick peas. If I mash them both together, she will eat them. It might take 20 minutes but she will eat. However, when I give her the boxed baby cereal, that costs $4 a box, she scarfs it down like she hasn't eaten all day.

It's raining today. That's good, it's laundry day so I don't have any need to outside, except to take the dog out. We need a decent soak and I think it's going to be soaked today. It's not raining hard, it's lightly raining and seeping into the ground. Finally. Too bad it had to be on the day that the school is having a BBQ.

I've been having problems with my dog lately. Nothing is wrong with her, I think something is wrong with me. It seems like everything she does annoys me. She walks into the room and her nails click on the floor and it wakes up Abby. She yawns and the room smells like rotting food. She licks her teeth constantly and the sound is so gross and loud. It bothers Abby and it ticks me right off. And it seems like she's doing it more than usual. She has a broken tooth and one that is brown and probably rotting. That explains the smell and I think it might explain the licking. I was reading my friend's blog and she was talking about having relationship problems with her dog. Well, I'm in the same boat. My wonderful dog has turned into just a dog. And while I love her, she's more of a nuisance now. I feel really bad because I do love her and I want to be there more for her but I have a baby who is more important.

All through high school, I wanted a Jeep - a red, soft top, TJ. A teacher at my high school had one and I loved it. There is one for sale here in town. Every time I drive by it, I want it. But now that there is one available, I can't buy it. I don't think a car seat would fit in a two door Jeep. It makes me sad.

I'm going to enter Abby in a cover contest for Today's Parent. I need to find a picture to send in. Will you help me decide?

Have you tried making your own cereal? Chloe really likes homemade oatmeal. I just add a little cinnamon and brown sugar and she eats it great. If the chunks of oatmeal are too big for Abby (not sure what size chunks she is eating) you can just grind the oatmeal up in a blender and then make it the same as normal.
