Good and Bad
Good: I'm getting a new cell phone for Christmas
Bad: Because I lost the old one
Good: We were going to get a new one anyway
Bad: But we were going to use up the over $150 on it first
Yeah, I don't know what happened to it. The best I can figure is that I had it on my belt while I was running errands and there is an elastic on my jacket that goes around my waist to keep the draft out and when I reached it get in the truck, or to get Abby or something, the elastic dislodged the phone. The only reason I'm upset is that we had a lot of money put into that phone. We bought minutes for it every 60 days to keep the minutes rolling over. The last time I checked, there was around $150. But you know, I guess that really isn't money we could use for anything else anyway. So I'm not too broken up over it. I just hate losing things. It's just a good thing we wanted to get a new one anyway. The old one couldn't text, take pictures or do anything cool. This afternoon I'm going to pick up Mark from work and we'll go pick up a new one. One that's cool, and can text. I never used to care too much about cell phones but we really need a phone for travelling. And now with Abby, we need a phone. So that's one Christmas present down.
I went Christmas shopping this morning. I only have a few more to go. Now I have to wrap them all. I hope I have enough wrapping paper, otherwise people will be getting some baby wrapping paper!!! Then, for lunch, I went out with my boss for our Christmas party. It was good. Abby behaved really well, I had fed her before and she ate a few fries at the restaurant. She had a short nap afterwards (too short - I didn't get one). Now she's riding around on her little trike and I'm sipping apple cider and relaxing. Wrapping can wait.
