Okay, I'm Back

I've had some time to think about it and I'm surprised at my last of emotion. I suppose it's because I knew it was coming and I was already prepared for it. That being said, I did get a stab of sadness when I saw a picture of him putting on that red hat. But honestly, he deserved to be traded and traded to a good team. A team with a chance. And the Phillies have a chance. Whether or not they make it not part of the equation, it's just the opportunity. And for who the Jays got in return is also something I don't really consider. They are all prospects which is good in that the Jays are rebuilding and bad because you never know if they will reach their so-called potential - that's what you get for betting on the future. We'll have to wait and see. The best part of this deal is that the Jays did right by Halladay and traded him to a contender and still got something they can point to as good in return.

I can't wait until June 25.
