In Like A Lion!

So the Heartburn arrived. That night. As I pushed post on my last blog. Figures. It's still not too bad but I have had to take more Tums now than I have before. That will teach me to brag.

The curling season has officially wrapped up now. Mark took his boys to Provincials in Weyburn this weekend. They lost, but I think they gained some experience. They are in Grade 11 so they'll be back next year. It was a rough go. Mark left on Thursday night for a coaches' meeting (that eneded up lasting 2 hours!) in horrible driving conditions. He was planning on driving back after the meeting but once he arrived safely in Weyburn, he didn't want to chance the drive back. Good thing he took a change of clothes just in case. By the next day, the roads had improved so he was able to come home for supper. Then the next morning, he was back at the rink. They got back to town around noon. A very fast and busy weekend. And this morning, I planned piano in church. I let the group know that this was my last Sunday playing. I'm just too tired and my heart is really not in it. I just don't want to be there. So now I can take it easy and enjoy the music now. I was so tired this morning and we went to bed at 9:30 the night before!! Mark had just started snoring and I rolled over and looked at the clock...10:01! Yeesh. And I don't remember looking at it again. I did wake up a number of times throughout the night but what else is new!

This afternoon, after our naps, we went outside to play. Mark and Abby shoveled the driveway. I think they did a great job, although Abby got a little sidetracked and tried to shovel the lawn! Then we made a snowman. Abby loves making snowmen in playdoh so it was time we made a real one. Then she wanted to make a snowmommy and snowbaby. But we ran out of snow! So we went inside and had apple juice and cookies. And watched some more curling.

One fun game I like to play with the baby is Guess That Body Part is Sticking Out. I just hope I don't poke it in its eye!
