#GarthinRegina

Last night was amazing. We were in Regina for the 2nd show and it was even better than I was hoping. Garth Brooks is the ultimate showman. He’s one of the best and it shows. I was one of 40,000 people in that stadium and I know for a fact that he looked at me. And I know that everyone in that stadium felt the exact same way.

He looked like he was having so much fun. The whole band did. These guys (and girl) have been touring around for 20-25 years and it looks like they’ve enjoyed every second of it. I couldn’t count the number of times they’ve probably sang those songs and it looked like they’d love nothing more to do it all again.

And they all worked so hard. They ran around the stage making sure they saw everyone in the stadium. By the end, Garth Brooks was soaked in sweat and very clearly tired. But not tired of doing the show, just having so much fun he’s out of breath. When he came out for the encore, he went around reading everyone’s signs playing all the requests. Just him and his guitar.

Highlight of the night? Callin’ Baton Rouge. It’s my favourite Garth Brooks’ song and he even said it’s his favourite to preform. It’s so awesome to see talented musicians let loose and do their thing. And no other song (well, maybe Ain’t Going Down Til the Sun Comes Up) showcases theirs talents so well.

Another highlight: The River. It was early in the show and it was an emotional moment. The crowd was in it 100% and it set the tone for the whole night. We were there to enjoy the music. All night long.
