What a Week

Just got back from our trip south for some fun and shopping. It was my Grandma's 90th birthday so we decided to spend the week and get some much needed baby shopping done. And boy, did we ever. We did manage to get almost everything on sale so that helped. I think we're set now, all we need now is the baby. We decided to just paint the baby room now. We were going to wait so we could paint it pink or blue but we might as well just do it now so it's ready. But the long week was really nice. I got to visit with my Grandma, my cousin who just had a baby, my best friend, my parents and in-laws and lots of relatives. On the drive down, we stayed at my sister-in-law and her husband's farm. It broke up the drive and it was nice to visit with them too. We got all the farm news, most of which flew over my head, but Mark seemed to understand. It was still a good visit. We even managed to hit the beach in Moose Jaw. Mark took me and another friend for a tube ride behind the boat. Don't freak out, he went really slow and both the baby and me are fine. In fact, now it's really kicking me around. But now I have to relax this weekend because I'm working full-time for the next three weeks while the other lady is on holidays. But first, I have to unpack all this baby stuff. Oh boy. I don't know if I can wait another 10 weeks!
