Good Day

Abby had a pretty good night. She woke up around 2 or 3, I can't really remember but settled down. We slept in the other room but she didn't toss and turn and cry like she has before. We got up after 8am and she was so happy and giggling. We did some yard work this morning. Mark cut the grass and I cut down all the weeds that invaded our yard. Abby sat in her stroller and laughed at us. After that, we came in and Abby had a nap. So I took the opportunity to finally go clothes shopping. Some time ago I was noticing that I needed new work clothes so I was going to go shopping. Then I got pregnant so that nixed that idea. Well, I'm not pregnant anymore and I'm going back to work so now I really need new clothes. Shopping with a baby is impossible so as soon as she fell asleep I ran to Wal-Mart and picked up a few things. Then I picked up lunch and brought it home. Abby woke up after we finished so she had her lunch. Then I decided since it was such a nice day, we would go for a walk. I had to mail a letter anyway so it's a good excuse. I had only planned to go to the mailbox and back but Mark was pushing the stroller and he led us to the park. Abby had lots of fun in the swings and she even went on the merry-go-round. Then the clouds blew in and we headed for home. We pulled into the yard just as it started to spit. We relaxed on the couch and watched it rain. Now Abby is having another nap. Then she'll need her supper and on and on it goes.
