Picture Perfect
In case you were wondering where all my pictures from the concert are, stop wondering. I didn't take any. Except for a couple of the empty stage and a few crowd shots, I didn't get any of the actual show. All during the tour, I have been following the news and reviews of the shows. At every show, the local newspaper takes pictures with a much better camera than I have. It's not that I wouldn't have been able to take a good picture. I was close enough to get some great shots and still pictures were allowed, no videos. But once the show started, the thought of turning around, looking in my purse to find my phone, turning on the camera and waiting for the camera to start, focus and then take the picture, make sure it's a good one and then put my phone away was just a few too many steps to take! In fact, I was hard pressed to turn around to see if my purse was still there. The last thing I wanted to do was interrupt my enjoyment of the show to show my enjoyment of the show.
The girl who was standing beside me had the opposite idea. She took lots of pictures on her phone. (They all looked blurry to me.) And she spent a lot of time scrolling through the pictures. And that is not how I wanted to spend the concert.
