Talk about other people making you look stupid!!
Yesterday my husband had the experience of someone else’s screw up making him look like a fool. Today was my turn. Twice before lunch and once again right after work the results of someone else dropping the ball, not providing all the information or simply being a jerk make me look like an idiot and making those I had to inform more than a little unhappy.
When I screw up, I own it. But at some point you have to stop owning other people’s screw ups.
I’m happier news, the two hawks I saw flying around yesterday are definitely a mating pair. I saw them this morning together on a power pole.
I think they have a nest in the neighbour’s trees. I’ll have to do more research on the type of nest that the Swainson Hawk builds. And when we can expect some babies! And Hannah’s mate needs a name. I think because he’s going to be a father I should call him Harry. Or maybe Henry. Henry sounds better for a hawk. I wish I could tell them apart. At least with the Northern Harrier male I know who he is. Why are most hawks brown!? And why can’t they fly closer so I can get a decent picture!?
