Fartin’ Mad or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Watch the Squirrel
Yesterday afternoon I took Abby to the living room to nurse her. Our living room has an eight foot window and right outside are two big trees. Once I got Abby going, I looked outside. There was a small brown squirrel running up one of the trees. I watched this little guy bounce from branch to branch, from tree to tree. He would run up and over and across and down. It was fun to watch him jump and land on a branch on a different tree. Then, when I looked down, she was fast asleep. The benefits of breastfeeding know no bounds.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Tantrums are wasted on the young. Sometimes when Abby cries really hard, she starts farting. I call this Fartin’ Mad. Yesterday I tried to give her a bath but she wanted to eat. So what did she do? She pooped in her bath tub. So I rinsed her off and went back to the couch. The squirrel was gone but The Simpson’s was on.
