That's Bananas!

For the last two nights, Abby woke up at her normal time for her feeding but had trouble falling back asleep. Tuesday night she would fall asleep for 5 minutes then start crying again. After 6 times of getting up and rewrapping and putting the soother back in, I was losing it. So I woke up Mark and he went and comforted her and got to go back to a real sleep. It only took about 15 minutes. I was so happy. So last night rolled around and the same thing happened. This time, after only three trips back to comfort and resoother her, Mark got up to get her. But this time, it took over an hour to put her back down. So needless to say, he was a little tired this morning. I felt terrible. I was not expecting it to take so long. I was thinking he would cuddle her for a bit then she'd drop off and he'd still a decent sleep. Nope. I'm trying to figure out what I have been doing wrong. The last two nights I've put her down earlier - 10pm, but she's asleep and it's better for her sleep in her crib than in my arms. Plus she'll sleep for four hours then so I don't think that's the problem. I've heard if the baby is fussy at night then you should cut out milk and then the baby won't be so gassy. So maybe I'll give that a try. The one thing I really think it is is bananas. I bought some last time I got groceries and I've only eaten them the last few days. Maybe she is having some reaction to them. I don't expect her to sleep through the night, but she always goes back to sleep. She's never been this hard to get back to sleep. And this morning she's been really fussy. So I'm cutting out bananas and milk and I'll see what happens.

I had the same problem if I had milk. It was sad as I lost my ice cream :( Cabbage and garlic can also cause problems as can a few other things. Anyway, hope it works and she gets back to sleeping for you.
