Abby Moments

Abby has been doing a lot of babbling lately. It's really cute. It usually goes something like this, "Ahhh, la la la da da da." This afternoon, Mark came and sat down in front of Abby and she looks at him and said very simply and clearly, "Da da." I think this was her first word. Mark's not too sure. He said she should have been able to say it again  but I think because she only said da da and nothing else in her stream of words that it is her first word. 

Abby and Mark were "talking" back and forth. She would say something and he would respond. After awhile of this, Mark said that she sounds just like him. At that very moment, she let out of giant burp. Oh yes dear, she sounds just like you. 

I bought an air freshener for Abby's room. It seemed like every time I went in there, it smelled like poop. So I put the new Cherry Blossoms air freshener right beside her garbage can. I went in to change her and now the room smells like licorice and pee. An odd combination.
