Pillow Talk
Problem solved.
Background. Abby sleeps with the nursing pillow around the top of her head. She likes it. It makes it seem like there is something there (like me). Lately I have been taking the pillow into the living room during the day. I sit her down and put the pillow around her back so she won't fall over. She is pretty stable sitting but sometimes she forgets and leans back too far. On the days I take the pillow to the living room, I usually forget to put it back in her crib. That's okay, I figured. I would rather she not sleep with anything in her crib, after all, all the books say nothing in the crib. The last couple nights she has not slept through the night. I take her into my bed and we snuggle. She snuggles right up to me and nuzzles in. It's the only way she will go back to sleep which means it's the only way I can go back to sleep. I mentioned this to Mark and he looked at me like I was crazy. Of course, use the pillow. It makes a huge difference. So last night I did. How much sleep did we get? The whole night. That's right baby! Full night of uninterrupted sleep. Take that book. In your face!
