The First Nice Day

And everybody heads outside! This morning I opened the blinds and saw these two guys from my bedroom window!

Then at lunch, this red-breasted fellow fluttered by to say hello. 

This afternoon was so nice that the girls had a dance party on the front deck and I decided it was a good idea to wash the windows. They got awfully messy after the snow geese migrated south. Well, imagine my surprise when I heard honking from above. And not the normal honking of the Canada geese who have been hanging around here lately. I looked up, way up and saw them all! The pictures don’t do it justice. There’s just too many, I can’t zoom in to get a good picture and I can’t capture the immense number of them in one shot. It’s an amazing sight. I just hope I don’t have to wash the windows again!! 

This little guy kept an eye on my while I was washing the windows. 

But that wasn’t everybody, Felicity came back for a visit. She decided to check out the dens in the front yard this time. 

We watched her for a bit before she disappeared down the hole. It’s so nice to everyone out and moving again.
