I'm Back!

It seems like a long time since I last wrote. I've been busy watching baseball. So the Cardinals won. I'm happy. I thought they would. And my favourite non-Jay, David Eckstein won the MVP. Good for him. I thought it was strange, however, how they did the schedule this year. Maybe I just haven't paid attention but I always thought it was 2 games in one spot then two in another then one, one, one alternating venues. But this time is was the first two in Detroit, the next three in St. Louis and, if need be, the last two in Detroit again. This makes more sense with travelling but it's kinda unfair to have three home games in a row like that. Anyway, it worked out for my team so I'm not making a big fuss.

I went to Choir today. We're singing So This is Christmas, by John Lennon. I really like this song. The funny part is that they way the song is written it almost forces you to sway along. So the choir is made up mostly with older ladies and it hilarious to see these women swaying along to a John Lennon song. I've been in the Christmas mood lately. At the jewellery store, we're bringing out all the Christmas stuff. It's so pretty that I want to buy everything. The ladies there are obsessed with Christmas, they already have their houses done up. I'm itching to start my Christmas cards. I have new stamps so I want to use them. In our Women's Group at church, the next meeting we're having is a card making meeting. It's not until the middle of November so I don't think I can wait that long! Well, take care everyone. Stay warm!
