Shop Kids

I went to volunteer at the library again yesterday but the librarian was sick. There was a sub there but she said that she had hardly any work to do herself let alone me. So I decided to go to Mark's room and see if he needed any help. The nice thing about being in the library is that you deal with books, not children. In the shop, you deal exclusively with children. Mark was great at it. He joked around with them and was serious with them too. I was impressed with how he handled the class. Me, on the other hand, not so good. There is a reason why he is the teacher and not me. He actually enjoys it, even the troubled kids. I don't. I'll stick to books.

So after school, Bill, Richard and Mark went fishing. They were home early though because the motor on the boat almost died on them. So they came back here and had a drink and some biscuits I made. Actually, Richard gave me the recipe. It's the biscuits Red Lobster makes. And I gotta tell you, they taste exactly the same. Yummy. And it's super easy too. I guess if you're making hundreds a night, you need to do the simplest recipe you can get. I was on the phone with my Mom when they came home so unfortunately, our call was cut short. I'll have to call her after the weekend. The church is having a Thanksgiving Dinner after the service so we're going to that. I'm glad I don't have to make a turkey. That would have been something to see!
