GAP

I've been watching this show called A Few Good Men and Women. It about a class of police recruits in Saskatchewan. I was watching it and remembered that a friend of mine switched careers and became a police officer. Sure enough, he's in this class that they are following around. He and his wife were really important to me. They led a small group at church and I loved going to their house and meeting with them. It's weird seeing him a cop. He was always so nice, but now that I think about it, he was also very fair and didn't put up with any of our teenage crap. Watching this show makes me realize that I really miss them. A lot. There's a lot of people from that church that I miss. it's times like this when it hits me...I've moved away. I'm an adult now with my own family. Maybe one day I'll lead a small group and impact some kid's life like they did for me. Just don't expect me to join the police.
