I Worked Today
It was my first day at work today. I cleaned the displays cases, shined up necklaces and gift wrapped packages. It was pretty good. I'm scheduled again next Tuesday. I need to find a job with more hours. I'm still looking but it's pretty slim pickings.
After work Mark greeted me at the door with a fishing rod in one hand and big smile on his face. So we back to Scotty Lake to try catching trout again. We got two good bites but no fish. There were so many black flies out there. I gave up and sat in the truck. I'm kind of a party pooper that way. I tried. Plus I was getting cold. I only had four layers on. Next time I'll take another.
Tomorrow I don't have to work so I think I'll go to the library and hang around the house. Wednesdays are the one day that I can't volunteer at the school. She has another person coming in so I'll go the next day.
Well, I'm going to try to phone my folks again. If they don't answer, I'm going to bed. I'm tired.
