Painful Revovations

Today was bathroom renovations day. We put up the frosting sticker on the window. It was a lot harder than it sounded. We got a few air bubbles but I think we did pretty good considering that it was the first time we attempted it. And we were using a broken spatula to stick it on. So it's done now and we can take down the towel off the window. It's a lot brighter now. Then we tore down the shower doors. I have never liked shower doors. I much prefer a curtain. Plus these door were ugly, rusted and they didn't slide very well. It was pretty dirty under those doors. But the Vim cleaned it up pretty good. I was vacuuming up the rust that fell on the floor and sitting on the tub when I kicked the door with my baby toe. Really hard. Really really hard. I yelled over the noise of the vacuum. Now it's all swollen and it hurts to bend it. Mark doesn't think anything is broken but it really hurts. I can't bend it anyway or put weight on it. But I don't ordinarily put a lot of weight on my baby toe anyway so it's not a big deal. But it feels weird. It was numb to begin with, now it's just so swollen. So that was our renovation day. We just have to fix the toilet and we're finished. Mark bought some paint and supplies to paint the back door.

I've been working on my Flin Flon scrapbook. Hopefully I can get it done in time for my parents visit. If not, they'll just have to imagine. I need a few more pictures developed. I'm on my blueberry page. I'm quite excited. I went out and took a bunch of pictures of the blueberries (good news, there will still be fresh berries when you visit) and ended up taking a lot of the scenery too. I took about 40 pictures. Thank goodness for digital. I don't know how many I'll develop. This was supposed to be a single page but now I might have to spread it out, or make a desperate scenery page. I'll figure something out.
