The Sun will Come out Tomorrow!
I'm feeling better about the whole visiting thing today. A few people commented and gave me some encouragement. I think I was just in a bad mood and was thinking of too many things. I'm sure everyone will get along and there will be no problems. But it did feel a bit better to get it off my chest.
Went for the Non Stress Test this morning. There were no parking spots in the hospital so I had to park on the street. No a big deal but in Flin Flon, the street usually has a big cliff to the one side. Yep, so I tried to park carefully. And it was raining and really cold, so my walk to my Non Stress Test was a little more stressful then I had imagined. But once I got there, it was fine. The machine cut out twice while I was strapped in. Apparently it does this a lot and just needs the wires to be wiggled. I knew the baby's heartbeat hadn't stopped since it was still kicking me. My stomach was a bit upset this morning - and the previous few mornings - so I only had a glass of milk for breakfast. So it showed up on the monitor that there was a bit of irritability. The one nurse seemed concerned because she thought they were strange contractions. No, just gurgles and noises. Jeepers those things are sensitive. So once again, everything is good and fine and baby will come anytime. Blah blah blah. I refuse to get my hopes up. It only makes me frustrated. Anyway our designated dog looker-after is going away this weekend so if I can hold out until Sunday, then we don't have to worry about the dog.
We put the car seat in the truck last night. Only one catch this time. The back seat is a 60/40 split so the seat behind the driver is the lone seat and the rest of the bench can be put up for storage room. We wanted to put the baby in that seat so we would have the most storage room possible. Only problem is that in order for the car seat to fit, the driver's seat has to be pushed up so far you can barely get in. So we moved it to the passenger side and it fits a lot better. It's still a bit cramped but it works. And it won't be in that seat forever. I had originally wanted the seat there anyway because it's easier to see when you are driving. So we only have one seat to put up for room, it'll be fine.
