True or False

On Friday I was sure that I wasn't going to make it through the weekend without going into labour. Then Monday rolled around. Then I was sure I wouldn't make it to my next doctor's appointment. Well, it's tomorrow and it looks like I'm going to make it. Mark said since out new truck is in the shop (getting a spray-in-liner in the box) our baby is waiting for it to come back so we can use it to drive to hospital and back home. The truck is due home today. I'm getting bored. I'm thinking of going for a long walk today.
Yesterday I was having stronger contractions every 6-7 minutes apart. I was getting excited. But then, I got up and walked around and they disappeared. I've gotten them as close as 5 minutes but they weren't strong and again, if I got up, they go away. Everything I've read says that if you move around and the contractions go away, it's false labour. They never say how annoying false labour is. It gets your hopes up and doesn't let you sit down for too long. One of these days, I'll have real contractions and I'll be begging for these half-hearted cramps. But you know what they say...no pain, no gain.

I just read that Castor Oil is not recommended since it can dehydrate the mother. Plus it gives you horrible diarrhea and takes like oil. On the flip side, the article mentioned that fresh pineapple might work. The only problem is that it would take about 7 fresh pineapples to do the trick. And again, would probably just produce a lot of scary trips to the bathroom. Maybe I should just stop reading and play Tetris. That will take my mind off of all this!
