Hooray!

He's home! Mark got back yesterday evening. He's still a little sick but getting better. He didn't get a deer. The only chance he had was when a deer came up behind him. He stared at it for a long time as he slowly, slowly brought the gun up. When he was about halfway up, the deer turned tail and ran. Oh well, at least he could say that it wasn't his aim. Besides, one guy waited five years before he got a deer and another has had a dry spell for four! Well, they got eight deer between the six of them so there will be no shortage of meat. That's 150 lbs of ground meat alone. Plus the fact when they make sausages and ground meat, they add the same amount of pork! 300 lbs of ground meat split six ways is a lot of meat! Plus all the sausages, salamis, steaks and other juicy cuts. We won't have to buy meat for a very long time.

My audition went okay. I was still so nervous, but I think it was my best performance yet. The scene went really well so hopefully they look at that. But the main thing was that I did the best I could so I don't have any regrets. I just wish I didn't get so nervous! I was fine when I was singing in church. But then again, I was with four other singers and no one was judging me! I guess I'll just have to wait and see now.
