Weekend Excursions

Mark liked the game so much, I went on Saturday night. It was pretty good. They don't allow alcohol in the building so no one went crazy. Of course, there was yelling, but it was good. The former mayor sat behind us and yelled at the goalie a lot. We all laughed. It was funny. He kept offering the goalie some of his coffee cuz it seemed like he was getting cold and losing his timing. He never came over though, oh well, his loss. Well, actually his win. We were winning until the third period when they tied it up. Then they went ahead and then we pulled our goalie and they got an empty netter. So it was 3-5. Then with thirty seconds left, we scored. Then they got another empty netter. Boo. Oh, and one of our goals was waved off even though it clearly crossed the line. We all booed. Our seats were right where the netting stops. I was on my toes, ready to catch any stray puck. One went beside us to where the Zamboni comes out, but nothing too close. Whew! So all in all, it was a good time. I'm glad I don't really care who wins because then I could just enjoy the game. The former mayor and I discussed how poorly the roads are being cleared.

So I made my piano debut in church yesterday. It went well. I screwed up a bit but nothing serious. Everyone was so appreciative. So all's well that ends well. I have a pretty big week coming up. Today I'm helping decorate the church for Christmas. And this weekend is the Choir Concert. I'm kinda nervous. I have to get my music together.
