Blue Stripe

She did it. She made it through and was presented with her blue stripe in Taekwondo. It was a hard road but she got there and accomplished something pretty amazing. 

So now that’s that. 

She won’t be going back next week. It makes me kinda sad about it because watching her today, she’s pretty good!! But then I remember forcing her to practice (and having no time to do so) and pushing her through the tears before tournaments and testing. So I guess it’s not the worst thing in the world.
