I tried, really I did
Okay, so It's Mark's birthday today and I told him I'd make these new cookies that I got the recipe of. I've had these cookies and they are really good. So I made them today. And, as usual, they came out looking so bizarre. This happens to me every time. I'll try to make something new, and it will look disastrous. But, they will taste great. The cookies, delicious. But you have to scrape them out of the pan. Mark likes them and he doesn't mind peeling them from the pan. I tried to put them into balls like the recipe said, but the batter was too gooey. They just spread out, and then when they baked, they all joined together. I would have been better off just making them into a cake. With the one pan, the cookies ran into themselves so bad that I just poured the icing on top of the pan and cut out squares. What you're supposed to do is take a circle and put the icing in the middle and put another circle on top...like an oreo. However, the cookies crumbled as soon I tried to pick them up. And the icing was more difficult to make than it looked. I had to add milk to make the icing spreadable, but I think I added too much. It was really runny, but again, still tasted good. I don't know if I'm cursed or what. Oh well, I'd rather had ugly yet tasty food than beautiful but disgusting food. I tired, really I did.
