Whew, what a game
I just finished watching the Blue Jays game. 14 innings! Wow. I don't normally get to watch an entire game because Mark always seems to find something better to watch on TV, but today is Saturday and therefore, nothing else is on. Good thing too because this was a doozie! Both Hinske and Wells made diving catches in the outfield and Molina's hit to win the game was great! Who says you need a home run, sometimes a base hit is just as good.
Mark and Dee Dee were playing during the game. It was so funny. He'd put his hand behind her head and it drives her crazy. She tries to bite his hand and she can't get to it. She wiggles around and jumps off and on the couch. She goes hyper. It's so funny too, when she actually does get Mark's hand into her mouth, it looks like she doesn't know what to do. She just keeps her mouth open until Mark's hand is out and then she clamps down. She does that with my socks too. She knows what is foot and what is cloth. Thank goodness too cuz that would hurt. But it's all just a game so we're happy to play along.
I have to tell a funny story. I think I can tell it now because it's all over now. Up here, when you find a great fishing spot, you keep it a secret. There is no greater secret than "The Great Spot". And if you heard that a friend of yours has found "The Great Spot", then you hound them until you find it out too. Well, ever since we caught those 19 pickerel in the lake beside Dale's house, Richard (a fishing friend) has been hounding him about this new secret lake called X. He keeps asking where it is and how far it takes to get there. Dale promised him that he'd take him so he got really excited. He's all about the new fishing holes. Well, he's peppering him with questions: What kind of footwear, can we walk in or drive, etc. Dale plans to take him for a drive around and then come back for a long boat ride before settling in around 200 yards from his house. Boy is he gonna flip! He's just way too excited about it.
Mark was craving an Ice Cap today so we made some at home. We just made a cup of coffee, added some milk and vanilla and a sackful of sugar. It turned put really good, then we got really tired. Good night.
