With neighbours like these, who needs a grocery store
Last night when we got home and divided the fish, we decided to take some over to our neighbours. They are an elderly couple who have been really nice to us. They had told us that they used to go fishing all the time, but now, because of their age, they can't anymore. The last people who lived here also told us that that when they would go fishing, they'd bring back some for them. They told us that she makes perogies and they used to trade back and forth. Sure enough, this morning, there was a knock on the door. She had a dish of perogies for us. Mark loved them and I even tried some and had to admit that they tasted quite good (he gave me a piece with no potato in it). Between the fish we get and the food we trade for it, we might never have to go shopping again!
