Volume 3

Wednesday 8:59pm
Today started off rainy and lazy. Faith left to go camping this morning. I hope the weather is better for her. We just hung around the house. Mark picked up some mattresses in anticipation of more houseguests and he also wired up the truck for the trailer. He and his dad put it into the bumper. Very snazzy. I took a nap. Then Mark was tired so he had a nap. After supper we went geocacheing. It's a website you can go to and get coordinates for your GPS to go to these spots where people have left little knick knacks. We found one in Moose Jaw. It had a bunch of stuff there and we took a miniature Grey Cup Helmut and left a bottle cap opener. That's the point. To find where these things are hidden and take and leave something. There is also a log book you sign. Then you go back to the website and update it. It was fun. The only problem was that the tree we found it was surrounded by thistles. When I bent down to pick up the pail the cache was in, I sat on a thistle bush. Ouchy.

Thursday 5:38pm
Today was Swift Current Day. We went for lunch at Uncle Harold and Auntie Doris'. She invited Uncle Wilburt too. We had a nice lunch and I showed them our scrapbook and our photos from fishing. We shared all of our fishing stories. Then we went and visited Grandma. They had had the Norwalk virus and had been under a volunteer quarantine. It was lifted today so we visited awhile, showed pictures again and then went downstairs to the diningroom to have some coffee and cookies. We sat outside for awhile but soon it was time to go. I'm really glad we had a chance to see them all. We're not going to be down South all that often so we had to make sure we took the chance we had. I slept a little on the way home. Visiting tires me out!
