Volume 7

Plan changes, again! I should really stop being surprised about it. It turned out that the time Faith was given for the movie wasn't the start time but the time that the movie ended. Who wants to know the what time a movie ends? But luckily we discoved this before we left. I was pretty disappointed. Not because I wanted to see the movie, we can go tomorrow, but because I wantd to see my parents. It took coming to Moose Jaw to make me realize how much I missed them. When we're home, I'm fine. The same thing happened when Julie and Justin and the girls came for a visit. It wasn't until they drove away did I realize how much I missed them. So when I found out we weren't going in for the movie, I got a little upset. That's when Mark decided we'd go anyway. We took the blueberries and the pictures and we had supper with them. We had a good visit showing them all of our pictures. Then we packed up the truck with a lot of their furniture. We're going to have blinds! It took awhile to pack things up and it was getting dark when Mark and Dad were tying up the tarp. Mom and I went to the basement to pick out some stuff for them to take when they visit us. I took a few dresses and clothes now. I can't wait for them to visit us on our own turf. Then we can show them what we like to do for fun, and the scenery. I'm going to take them for a walk where I pick blueberries. Maybe, just maybe, there will still be blueberries to pick. If not, it's still a nice walk.
Tonight to the family supper out. Mark and I are going to make lunch today. Pan-fried fish. Just a small lunch because we had a huge waffle breakfast and are going to have a huge supper. That suits us just fine. We don't have a lot of fish to go around anyway.
1:00pm
Yeah for fish! Faith made her native meal yesterday and for lunch today, Mark made our native meal. He pan-fried the pickerel in oil and seasonings. We made beans and veggie stir-fry. The fish was so good. We only had a few fish so everyone just got a taste. If they want anymore, they have to come and help us catch it!
